Have you ever been to Ihop because you are a princess to Ms. Jacksonville Outstanding Teen? I have and I am going to tell you about it. My sister, who is Ms Jacksonville, is Kendel Dintest . We went to IHOP and we asked for donations because some kids have cancer. Me and another princess named Lexies went to tables and said, ‘’hi would you like to donate’? You can donate one dollar or five dollars and if you donate five you can get a free coupon. When you donate you can put your name on a paper balloon and it will show that you donated.”

We got money from people and put in the donation box. It is four feet tall. Lots of people were there. My mom and my brother had a lot of food. It was a mess. My mom and brother were done eating and I was done asking for donations. My mom got all of the food free because I was a princess. I ate pancakes and I had a drink. I got in the car and went home. That is my weekend news.

Have you ever gone to a monster Jam at ever bank field? Well I have except one year because Hank Jr. was having a concert. I went to the concert instead of the Monster Jam. It was fun.

This year was better. My favorite truck is Grave Digger because he`s my dad`s favorite! As soon as Madusa got done, SPLALSH! It was raining! So we got out of the rain and it was still going and my dad said, “they’re leaving“, and I said “no they’re not!” Then we left and apparently the Monster Jam was still going. My dad`s friend sent a video of Grave digger WININNG! Then we went to bed.

Crash! Went the grocery carts! I went to Walmart and entered the entrance. Walmart was far from my house. I went to the toy section and it had a bunch of toys! The walls were blue and the temperature was warm. I played with a hoola-hoop. Me and my sister had a hoola-hooping contest and I won!!!! Then I jumped on a pogo stick. I rode on a bike with no hands but my mom called us to go home. I had fun! When I got home, me and my sister had a pillow fight in our room. We had nachos for dinner and I had to brush brush brush my teeth because my teeth were yellow from the nacho cheese. Then I went to bed.

Have you ever gone to the Monster jam? Well I have. It was Saturday morning we went to Tee Shirts and Much More to get me and my brother some cargo shorts. My brother had got a blue shirt, then my dad took me to Marshalls to get a black and white polo tee shirt. Then we all went home and took a bath. Then we all got in the car. We went to this parking spot that cost $10. When I got out of the car I said, “it is hot.” Then we walked across the street and we went on the bridge. Then we walked all the way to ever bank stadium. Soon as Grave Digger truck, my favorite one, came out his engine was messing up. So they sent the pick-up truck so they can see what wrong with his engine. Son of Grave Digger won a trophy, then he gave it away. When they started to free style, Grave Digger rode into the field. Then he parked in his spot and they put cars on each other and a RV in front and Wolverine made the RV fall into pieces. It started to rain so they shut it down and we had to walk back over the bridge and across the street.

How To Use a Number Line to Add Two Digit Numbers

Step 1: Get a pencil and a piece of  paper and at the top write 49+33= which is the  algorithm. Draw a blank number line.

Step 2: Draw your number line.start at 49 not 33 because it quick,easier and more efficient. Because 49 is bigger then 33 and if you start at 33 it will be harder and less efficient and slower.

Step 3: So you have your  agrethem and your number  line. Now you  put  three tens. then you put three ones. you put  three tens and three ones because the  second  number is 33.

Step 4; You have your tens and ones.Now you need to label the tens and ones by putting the numbers under the tens and ones.

Introducing Report Writing

Today our Writers Workshop began a focus on report writing. The class voted to do the first report on cheetahs. Before the writing begins, the students first need to become familiar with what report writing looks like. In this lesson, groups of students investigate nonfiction texts about cheetahs. Students were to understand that reports are partitioned into chapters which focus on a particular content area. Each group made a chart which listed some of the chapters in their nonfiction book, and interesting information contained in each.

Kyler's Weekend News Story

Have you ever been bowling before?  I have and it was fun. But the first time there was no lanes so we went to another bowling place. And there was only one lane so we took it but first I had to get my bowling shoes on. Then me, my brother and my dad signed our nick names and mine was Ky, my brothers was Oz and last but not least was my dad’s nick name, it was D.a.d. Then it was my turn and I got two turns and ten games. Then when my brother was doing his turn, I made a run for it to get both of us a gum ball. Then I ran back and gave him his gum ball then it was my dad’s turn.  He got a strike so it was my turn and I only needed 7 pins to win and I got a strike! And I won first place!
